Who We Are

The American Society of Atheist Physicians is a community of medical professionals who are passionate about patient care and outcomes based on evidence-based medicine. We are a burgeoning organization, founded on enlightenment values, and we believe that these values are intrinsically atheist.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a platform for medical professionals and trainees, defend patients against religious dogmatism. We aim to provide a humanist counter to Project 2025 in light of the upcoming election and provide voices for evidence-based patient care.

Our Vision

We envision a future where the medical apparatus, being a member of the state, is not influenced by the church. We believe that matters of patient care, best practice, and legal practice should be informed by evidence-based medicine, not religious organizations.

Our Values

We respect individual beliefs on a personal basis. However, we take issue with radicals attempting to subvert patient care. Our strategic goal is to mitigate the damage done by such actions. We firmly believe that the best apparatus for patient care is the doctor-patient relationship.

Join Us

Membership dues are currently waived for all interested members. Once we establish a footing, this will change. Those wanting to join need only to sign up at the “Articles” header. Those interested in submitting an editorial reach out to us at ‘Contact us’ with along with an attached copy of their CV and a brief statement of why they would like to join. At this time membership goes to access of our full Editorial Section and support our website.
